From trauma to presence
I will reflect about the possibilities and limits of how personal traumatic experiences can be processed in constellations. As a constellator it is of crucial importance to gently facilitate a healing experience without retraumatization, which could otherwise be easily possible in a scenic process. This requires a changed understanding of the way to lead the constellation as well as a specific format.
All therapeutic work has the ultimate aim to facilitate the client gaining in presence. Understanding our work as a way to it, without as constellators getting trapped in the traumatic histories of the ancestors or the client, is essential. What we need is less histories and more presence!
